Great Marlow Swans Trustees

Andrew Jones - Chairman

Married with usual quota of kids, pets and bills! In my professional life I am Group Marketing and Sales Director for a Medical technology company offering solutions primarily for Orthopaedic Oncology. I am therefore using my skills acquired over 20 years in this field to help build a passionate and committed group of Parents within the Swans. I am a keen supporter of the school and especially its approach to competitive sport. As a keen runner and part-time triathlete, physical exercise is invaluable to me, and I appreciate the positive mental and physical effects that rowing has on our children.

However I must point out that I am possibly the founder member of a unique club!.. The first Chairman of a rowing club who has never even rowed!

The closest I come to water is when I drink it!

Roger Wilson - Treasurer

Roger Wilson is a widower and originates from Devon. He has lived in the Marlow area for over 40 years.

He is the current chairman of Marlow Community Assocation which runs Liston Hall, is a Governor at both Great Marlow School and Marlow C of E Infant School and a local councillor. He was also Mayor last year.

He quotes "The only time that I went in a small boat - excluding sailing dinghies - I capsized!"

Caroline Money - Secretary

Caroline Money is a Marlow girl - born and bred and educated locally. She has been instumental in setting up GMSwans and is also Secretary and a Trustee of Friends of Great Marlow School - the school's PTA. She has been a Trustee before, having been involved with other school charities since 2001. With this she brings many years of experience to the Swans.

She is a keen supporter of the rowing and can often be seen (and heard!) supporting the squad at Regattas and Heads.

She is a parent of two children who attend Great Marlow School. Her eldest, Charlotte is currently in Year 11 and an enthusiastic member of the Great Marlow Boat Club and in the J16 girl's squad. Her son Sam is in  Year 8 and started rowing on the water at the end of Year 7.

Tim Clarke - Membership Secretary

Hello and welcome to Great Marlow Swans. My role is to establish an active membership by parents as well as ensure that we have money coming into the club on a timely basis - not the most popular of jobs! However I'm keen to support my daughter who rows, Swans and the School develop rowing.

I'm a keen amateur sports photographer  and you will find a number of my photos on the website.

A Business Consultant by occupation and a keen supporter of Welsh Rugby (well someone has to be!). I'm also an active volunteer with the Marlow Minis Rugby.

Happy Sculling!

Fergus Murison - Coach

Fergus Murison has been teaching Maths at Great Marlow School since 2007. He came into teaching after having worked in the financial sector for over two decades.

He has been involved with charities supporting education and rowing for a number of years and is a Trustee on two other related charities.
